Yesterday albinism Society of Kenya under one of its programme dubbed ‘Imarisha Masomo’ paid school fees for fourteen students across the Country. The programme covered one student in pre-Unit, four students in primary school, six students in secondary school, and four students in university/colleges.
Parents who accompanied the students today in Albinism Society of Kenya offices in Nairobi west were truly grateful for the gesture by the society.
Speaking during the event Samuel Njeru, one of the beneficiaries from Mbeere said that he was truly grateful. He has been an orphan since 2016 .He said he didn’t have hope he would continue with school since his mother died and father disowned him. It is the hope of albinism Society of Kenya to sponsor as many students as the funds allow.
Hon Sen. Dr. Isaac Mwaura who is the National Chairman of the Society “Imarisha Masomo is a program that we are very keen on, we will continue paying for school fees as our funds allow, we wish you all the best in your studies.”
